Flip Out Rochdale

Ok so there’s some really great things about Flip Out and there’s some things that could be improved. But the main thing is the kids absolutely love it and we come back repeatedly. For context, I’ve been here with my 6 and 8 year old 4 times in the last 6 weeks. I’ve also held both of their birthday parties here in that period of time and have used the trampolines and inflatables sections. The good: - the trampoline arena itself is exceptional. Like really really good. There’s loads to do in that side of things and the kids absolutely love it. - the inflatables section is fun. If you’ve been to the likes of inflatanation then that side might be disappointing as it’s nowhere near as good as expansive but it is fun - the cafe is reasonably priced with a varied menu - cute little soft play for toddlers in the cafe too - 2 for 1 offers at points mid week and generally, for what’s included, I think it’s reasonable value - staff have always been really friendly with us The Could be Better: - the wait times in the cafe have been really long each time I’ve been. It’s often one member of staff making the food, serving the customers and even answering the phone - no toilet seats in the women’s toilets - for parties, sometimes it’s a bit chaotic. With my eldest’s 8th party the kids were called off the trampolines 15 minutes before there was any food so they were all impatient. for my middle son’s party there was a lot of confusion over which room they were in and parents struggled to find the party room too. 30 minutes seems too rushed in a party room I think too. Other than the place sometimes feeling understaffed though and a lot of waiting as a result, this place really is great. The kids love it, food is reasonably priced and it always feels like a worthwhile trip.

Very disappointed - clearly don’t care about the safety of customers. I visited flip out Rochdale yesterday at 11am. W There was an inflatable rodeo bull, which allegedly malfunctioned and hit my 4yr old daughter in the head with full force. The employee said ‘she didn’t know what happened, as the bull shouldn’t do that’. I had to tell the employee to go and report it to the manager, and stop using the ride, whilst giving my own daughter first aid ( staff made no attempt to help). Despite the machine allegedly malfunctioning, the young lady continued to reopen the ride and cause further harm to other customers. The employee who actually hurt my daughter, then chose to continue to target us for rest of the hour, by telling us we couldn’t go on things, and I couldn’t help her bounce - despite many other parents doing exactly the same, and having ten teenage lads without adults running around.

So we have visited the place today with our boys. We have visited the place before and by the looks of it, the place is progressively getting worse. The place is absolutely filthy. Given that we came at the start of the day, just as soon as it opened I understood it was left dirty from previous day. The bins inside were overflowing and litter laying on the floor. The tables at the coffee shop were absolutely sticky and full of cramps and in general all the place looked dirty. Could only imagine how bad it must be "behind the scenes" such as in the kitchen. The staff at the coffee shop seemed very passive and hardly showed any interest in what they do, probably because of what they are being paid for. The toilets in appalling condition, dust looked so thick that it was hard not to notice. 1 hour of jumping costs 11£ pp so not cheap, but who ever is managing the place seems only interested in profit without any consideration of even bare minimum investment or at least attempt to keep the place clean for the customers. Outside surroundings also look dirty, full of litter and not attractive at all. Just a shame that such conditions seem acceptable and tolerated. Will try to avoid at all costs, and in my view the place deserves to be thoroughly inspected and shut down if no improvement.

Disgusting trampoline park, so dirty! Need to redo most parts inside the park. Workers are nice enough, male manager is quite rude and has a condescending attitude. There was some issues on the booking and the way it was dealt with put us off coming again. Always come when it’s holidays or parties with friends and families. Not anymore, will recommend other places. Been to flip out Sandwell amongst other places they have much better and cleaner parks and staff are amazing!

Great place to come and jump around. Has a fun obstacle course with a ramp to run up and climb at the end with 2 different heights. Unfortunately doesnt have the slide like the Manchester one has. Be careful of the foam pits as the foam stuck all over the socks and goes all over clohes and hair. It would be good it they cleaned out the foam pits. But overall i would recommend to come and visit.
